Inspector Gary Christian served in the Detroit Police Department for approximately thirty-three years (33) years. Inspector Christian began his career as a Police Officer and rose to the rank of Assistant Chief of the Detroit Police Department (DPD). Inspector Christian served in various capacities during his career with the Detroit Police Department including: being the Commanding Officer of the Crime Prevention Section; created the Gaming Division at DPD; Commander of the Tenth Precinct; and Deputy Chief in charge of the Risk Management Bureau.
Inspector Christian attended Ruthruff Elementary School, Tappan Middle School, Mackenzie High School and graduated from both Eastern Michigan University and the Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. Inspector is a life long Detroiter and is committed to its success!
