The Division of Technology and Information Services (DTIS) shall provide the technology blueprint relative to best practices, policies, procedures, and service levels that are consistent with the objectives of Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD). We will integrate high-value and diverse technology into a cohesive infrastructure to facilitate classroom teaching, student learning, and data driven business decisions.
The vision of DTIS is to enhance learning in the classroom through the use of technology that will aid students to reach academic excellence. DTIS will also lead the DPSCD business units to new levels of operational efficiency and customer service through the innovative use of technology.

DPSCD has over 500 academic and literacy software programs actively used in all schools.

Install Office 365 Professional Plus on your personal smartphone, computer, and/or tablet
Detroit Public Schools Community District is proud to provide Office 365 Professional Plus to all staff and students. You will have access to the latest full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook to use at home on your personal smartphone, computer, and/or tablet. Each of the DPSCD staff and students have five Office 365 ProPlus licenses available to install on your personal Apple, Android, and Windows devices.
