Office of Professional Development


The Office of Professional Development provides high quality, sustained, intensive and student-focused training as an integral part of a broad school wide and district wide improvement plan. Our research- based training opportunities increase and improve the knowledge and skills of district employees to provide students the opportunity to achieve high academic standards. The Office of Professional Development offers pathways for professional growth and career advancement that will produce a highly efficient and well-trained workforce.

Workshop Registration Guidelines

  • All participants must be pre-registered at least 48 hours prior to the offering.
  • You must arrive on time. Participants who arrive after the stated start time will not be admitted into the workshops.

    • DPS email address must be listed in this account.
    • You will receive an email confirmation once you have registered—please bring the confirmation with you when you attend your registered workshop.

  • Please remember that the Professional Development Workshops are designed specifically for DPS employees.
