Program Description

Communication and Media Arts High School was recognized as one of the nation’s best high schools by U.S. News & World Report and awarded with the Bronze Award. CMA, located adjacent to St. Mary’s of Redford Catholic Church, offers students a small, safe, positive and caring, yet competitive, high school experience that prepares scholars for higher learning through a rigorous academic program and provides a sense of achievement. Students are required to have a college acceptance letter to graduate, and 95 percent of all CMA graduates are enrolled in college or trade schools. CMA has a 99 percent graduation rate and a 95 percent attendance rate. When students enter our school, they take on a professional demeanor and know their purpose is to learn.
