Program Description

Detroit International Academy for Young Women is the only PreK-12 all-girls public school in the state of Michigan. The mission of DIA is to offer a college preparatory curriculum that allows students to excel personally, socially and academically with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects and leadership development. Our small learning community is unique as it offers an alternative to traditional co-ed education in a secure and nurturing environment. DIA reinforces a “can do” philosophy that ensures learning takes center stage with time outside of the classroom for social development.
