Pasteur, a PreK-6 school, offers a high-performing, general education curriculum that has garnered accolades from Excellent Schools Detroit as one of the top 20 K-8 schools in the city, and the Mackinac Center for Public Policy as one of the highest-performing elementary-middle schools in the state. Pasteur has a unique reputation for educating generations of families and has one of the largest elementary-middle school alumni associations in the U.S. that helps with providing the day-to-day needs of students.

Pasteur Elementary School will successfully educate all of its students in a clean, safe and healthy learning environment by forming a school, home and community partnerships.  We will provide opportunities for each student to reach his/her fullest potential in all seven of the Multiple Intelligence’s (Musical, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Logical-Mathematical, Linguistic, Spatial, Interpersonal and Intra personal).   Therefore, our students will become productive citizens in a global society as a result of a curriculum which promotes excellence and diversity.
